GGBR, simply explained

Start with the product and the goal.

What is GGBR?

A digital token on Ethereum, made by Goldfish. Each GGBR represents 1/1,000 of an ounce of gold, so any dollar amount can go into gold. You keep the token in your own wallet. It is not a bar in a vault.

Understand the backing

Do I need to buy a whole ounce?

No. One GGBR represents a thousandth of an ounce, and you can buy as many or as few as you like. The app or market you use sets its own order sizes and fees.

Compare the options

How does GGBR’s value change?

With the gold price. Each GGBR represents 1/1,000 of an ounce of gold, so its value follows the price of gold. The price you can trade GGBR at can also differ from the gold price, because of liquidity, spreads and the venue.

How is this different from buying a bar?

A bar gives you a particular physical piece to possess or store. GGBR gives you a digital holding under the stated reserve and trust model. The legal rights, trading routes, costs and physical-delivery process differ.

Compare six options

What does the first-ounce calculator show?

It estimates the first whole week when your starting amount and weekly contributions reach a one- or ten-ounce equivalent holding, using a constant gold reference. It does not place or schedule purchases.

Plan an ounce

What is the project trying to achieve?

Goldfish aims to make gold-backed holdings accessible in small digital units, with the flexibility to hold, trade or request physical gold through a separate dealer route.

What are your plans?

Goldfish does not publish a roadmap. This site describes GGBR as it is today, and changes are announced when they are live: on X and in The Goldfish Briefing, the weekly newsletter.

Backing and trust

Understand what is reported and how to inspect it.

What backs GGBR?

1,000,000 troy ounces of in-situ gold held by the GGBR Trust, at the Happy 2 claims in Arizona. Every GGBR holder is a beneficiary of the trust. The figure comes from the company; the geological, title and trust documents are the evidence behind it.

Explore the reserve

What does “beneficiary” mean here?

Goldfish describes GGBR holders as beneficiaries of the GGBR Trust, with fiduciary duties owed by its trustee. The governing documents determine the legal rights, jurisdiction, enforcement and limitations. A public marketing description is not a substitute for those documents.

Where is the gold?

In the ground at the Happy 2 claims in Pinal County, Arizona. It has not been mined, and it is not held as bars in a vault.

How can I check the evidence?

Use the token explorer for supply and transactions; trust and offering documents for holder rights; claim/title records for ownership; and the Qualified Person’s technical report for gold quantity and assumptions. Smart-contract audits answer a different question.

Documents and reports

Can I identify a particular ounce behind my token?

The token is fungible. Corporate guidance says it does not assign a unique identified ounce to each token. Review the reserve and rights for the overall arrangement rather than treating a wallet token as a serial-numbered bullion bar.

How often is the gold reserve checked, and by whom?

An independent Qualified Person assessed the reserve under the NI 43-101 standard, as the company states. The company says the geologist who wrote the technical report also makes the on-site checks. It has not published a schedule for them.

Ask for the Qualified Person’s report and the date of the latest site visit: [email protected].

How do I know GGBR is not over-minted?

The supply is public. Every GGBR minted or burned shows on Ethereum, and the transparency page reads the supply live from the contract. Minting adds GGBR against collateral, and the trust and reserve documents set out the gold the GGBR Trust holds.

Ask for those documents: [email protected].

Choose a route and review the actual quote.

Do I need a crypto wallet?

No. Sign in with your email or Google and we create a wallet for you, and your GGBR arrives in it.

If you already have a wallet such as MetaMask, you can connect that one instead and your GGBR goes there.

The wallet is yours either way: the app shows its address and your GGBR balance any time, with a link to view it on Etherscan, and you can sell your GGBR or redeem physical gold whenever you want.

Buy GGBR

Where do I buy GGBR?

Select Buy GGBR at the top right of the menu, and sign in with your email or the crypto wallet of your choice. You can pay by credit or debit card, by bank transfer or in crypto.

For large or institutional purchases, contact us for execution through the OTC desk.

Does the app require identity verification?

Yes, for some purchases. Identity verification (KYC/AML) is required for all crypto-to-crypto purchases, and for purchases in US dollars or euros over $500.

A random security check, or an automatic flag from one of the banks that process payments, can also ask you to verify your account before an order settles.

What can I pay with?

Goldfish accepts ETH, USDC, USDT and Bitcoin, and US dollars and euros by card or bank transfer. You do not have to fund a wallet first.

Pay from a crypto wallet you already have, or sign in with your email and we create a wallet for you. Your GGBR arrive in that wallet when the purchase settles.

What is the official token address?

The corporate website publishes 0x7e2ac793f3E692f388e66c7DC28F739d13B0B71A for GGBR on Ethereum. Verify the full address and network before approving.

Are there minimums, maximums or fees?

Actual purchase limits depend on the service or trading venue. Platform charges, spreads and blockchain network fees can apply. Review the final quote and transaction rather than assuming that fractional divisibility means a cost-free or unrestricted order.

What about a larger purchase or sale?

Buying $25,000 or more? The Goldfish trading desk fills large orders. Email [email protected] for a quote and its conditions. This website does not promise a guaranteed best price, fixed spread or zero slippage.

How is the gold link maintained?

The company describes gold-price references, managed liquidity and arbitrage. These mechanisms are intended to support price alignment; they do not guarantee the execution price, market depth or the ability to sell a particular amount immediately.

Using and redeeming GGBR

Cash conversion and physical delivery are different routes.

Can I convert GGBR to cash?

You may sell GGBR through an available market into another asset, such as USDC or USDT, then use a cash withdrawal service. Each step has its own eligibility, fees, timing and banking requirements.

Can I receive physical gold?

Yes, from 10 troy ounces, or 10,000 GGBR. The GGBR you redeem are burned. An identity check, the product, the delivery address and a full quote come first.

Explore redemption

What will delivery cost?

Physical redemption runs through our regulated partners and has a standard 3% service fee, paid by the holder.

Explore redemption

Will the calculator order a coin or ten-ounce bar for me?

No. It illustrates a GGBR-equivalent goal. Reaching it does not schedule purchases, submit a redemption request or guarantee a particular physical product.

Does redemption mean the reserve is mined?

No. A physical redemption needs no mining or extraction at the Happy 2 Mine Project. Your GGBR are redeemed, and our network of regulated dealers delivers physical bullion to you. The in-situ gold reserve behind GGBR is not touched.

Wallets, code and controls

Know the network and protect your access.

What network is GGBR on?

GGBR runs on Ethereum Mainnet. Expansion to more chains is planned.

Which wallet can hold GGBR?

You do not need to choose one to start: the wallet we create when you sign in holds GGBR. If you would rather use your own, the source recommends compatible Ethereum wallets such as MetaMask, Uniswap Wallet or Ledger.

Verify the full token address, protect recovery information and check approvals carefully. Wallet safety and third-party platform safety are separate responsibilities.

Is the supply fixed?

No. GGBR supply grows through collateralized minting: new GGBR are minted against the in-situ gold reserve. GGBR redeemed for physical gold is burned, which reduces supply.

Follow supply on the transparency page

Where are the code audits?

The Security page links the published CertiK and Cyfrin reports with their dates, scope and findings. Audit reports do not certify reserves or eliminate all administrative, operational or security risks.

Read the reports

What is Aurum Safeguard?

Aurum Safeguard is a token reserve intended to offset eligible protocol-breach losses, with a published design allocation of 10% of minted supply. It excludes third-party breaches and user-caused losses. It is not an unconditional payout or proof of independent insurance.

Understand the reserve

How do I report a vulnerability?

Use the published private disclosure routes and review the bounty scope before testing. Provide a reproducible description without destructive activity. Reward amounts and eligibility are subject to the program conditions.
